Environmental Mission

Our Shared Responsibility

Transmin takes environmental responsibility seriously. Through the implementation of controlled environmental management systems and meeting the requirements of AS/NZS ISO 14001, Transmin continually monitors how we conduct our activities to negate or minimise any adverse environmental impact.

Transmin sets specific site targets that are reviewed regularly and, as improved performance levels are achieved, new targets are set for further improvement. As part of Transmin inductions and training, all employees are informed of their environmental duty of care. We continuously seek out ways to contribute towards a cleaner, greener future.

In 2013 Transmin received the Clean Technology Grant from the Federal Government and chose to invest in renewable energy by installing an efficient solar system at our off-site servicing facility in Perth, reducing our overall carbon footprint.
