Though Transmin has enjoyed an ongoing relationship with this Australian company providing logistical support to the resource industry (β€˜the client’), this was the first time they had engaged us to provide Apron Feeder servicing and parts. The client reached out after seeing an email campaign on how we could assist with the service and upkeep of Apron Feeders.
The Challenge:Β 
The client was struggling to access support from the manufacturer of their Apron Feeder. As a result, they were at risk of a catastrophic failure because the machine was well past its scheduled maintenance date and required urgent servicing and parts replacement.Β 

The Solution:Β 
One of our highly skilled Service Technicians attended the site and carried out an audit to determine the required parts. We then wrote up a methodology describing how we would perform the work. As the number one Australian distributor for Berco Chain, Transmin had replacement chains in stock. We also identified parts and components that could be supplied from our Transmin Apron Feeder inventory line. Having finalised our planning, we mobilised a team of skilled Transmin Technicians to carry out the work on-site.

The works were carried out on time and on budget, allowing the client to continue operating with peace of mind. We are working closely with the client to assist them with preventative maintenance strategies, and we will help perform similar works across their other sites.
