The Project
Transmin was commissioned to refurbish our Stockpile Apron Feeder FE-04, including a full track chain and pan replacement, head and tail end bearing replacement, drive sprocket replacement, carry idler and return carry idler replacements. Access and timeframe was limited to carry out the scope of work and Transmin delivered on both.

The Project
I wanted to take the opportunity to thank the Transmin boys who helped out with the PP2 sizer breakdown here at Mesa J. The PP2 shutdown was a good achievement for the team – they are well supervised and all teams have a strong focus on quality of work and safety, which makes my job so much easier as a Shut Supervisor onsite. We had an incident free shut and got all our work plus extra completed in the time-frame we had.

The Project
Transmin undertook the task of rebuilding a Transmin Low Profile Feeder at Bunbury Port in Western Australia. This included a full drive end overhaul, tail end overhaul, belt and flight change out with minimal time to scope and execute the job. The job came through on target.

The Project
We gave Transmin about 6 weeks to build a complete flux screw feeder as a replacement for one that had been in use since the mid 1990’s. This included bearings, screw, couplings, packings, etc..

Transmin chased up archive documents in order to build up the entire feeder. The six week turn-around also included delivery to site. They also managed to fabricate shaft sleeves and have them chromed at a very quick rate for us as well. I am extremely happy and thankful for all the help that Transmin has given me throughout the last nine months since I have been dealing with them. I can’t name all the people, but Adam Dodson and his team have been very helpful and always got back to me promptly. I can’t thank them enough.
