Conveyor belt edge strip is vital for ensuing minimal spillage, and for keeping material away from track chain and other conveyor componentry. Ongoing wear can cause traditional glued edging to fail and come away from the belt – resulting in costly maintenance and downtime. Hot-vulcanisation is the process of applying heat to infuse the belt and edge-strip rubber together – resulting in a far stronger bond.
