- Heavy Duty Hangers & Isolation Bushes
All Transmin Bin Activators are fitted with heavy duty, long life hanger arms and isolation bushes. These items have been load tested by independent testing authorities and are guaranteed to provide superior isolation.
- 100% Workshop Trial Assembly
To provide absolute guarantees of correct site assembly, all Transmin Bin Activators are 100% trial assembled in our workshop before shipping. This includes seals and vibratory motors.
- Emergency Isolation Gate
As standard on all Transmin Bin Activators, the outlet is fitted with an emergency isolation gate for positive isolation of silo contents during downstream maintenance. The gate is designed to be quickly closed by hammer if necessary in emergency situations.

Seal
Transmin's custom designed seal has developed by as a result of many years of experience. The seal is a three ply PVC seal with an inner "Conplas" abrasion resistant liner. The seal is held tight by using stainless steel seal straps that are located between 3mm wire beads.

- Engineered mass flow bin designs often result in tall steep bins. Successful mass flow is highly dependent on the ability to maintain consistent material properties such as moisture, particle size and consolidation time. Variations in these properties can drastically alter flow.
- The Transmin Bin Activator range offers a cost effective and reliable alternative to mass flow hopper designs. The Bin Activator is able to overcome the problems of material packing in the converging lower cone of the bin (a common cause of flow problems) and will encourage an even, flat withdrawal of product from the storage silo. This has the added benefit of minimising 'classification' of product created by funnel flow discharge and effectively re-mixes fines with larger particles in a similar distribution to the original mix. Bin Activators are easily installed to existing silos as cheap alternative solution for flow problems.
