Eight massive hydraulic isolation gates are undergoing final assembly and test at Transmin's Malaga works.

The gates will be installed on the outlets of bunkers storing iron ore in WA's Pilbara region and will be used to isolate the bunkers from downstream equipment during shutdowns and maintenance.

Due to the heavy duty nature of the application, many features have been developed by Transmin over many similar projects to ensure optimum performance first time, every time.  This contract takes the number of such gates supplied to the Iron Ore Sector to well over 25.
