A full size 'En-Masse' chain conveyor is now available at Transmin's Perth works for testing and demonstration.  The conveyor is a totally enclosed 'Swan Neck' configuration cpable of self feeding under flooded load conditions and elevating the material up to a height of approximately 3.0m.

The machine is a model '400-OOSN' capable of 60m3/hr capacity at the standard chain speed of 0.2m/s.

Client's are invited to contact Transmin should they require a test to determine suitabliity with their material - a 1t or 1m3 bulk bag of product is required for testing purposes.  Through prior arrangement with Transmin, the machine can be delivered to a client's site if prefered.

A recent test proved the machine's suitability for handling Urea prill, the key requirement being the ability of the conveyor to self empty after a batch.  This was achieved to the customer's satisfaction by the use of special features incorporated into the design of the machine.

This type of conveying and elevating technology is well proven as a relaible, safe and efficient method of handling a wide range of bulk materials within the mining and minerals processing industries.
