Transmin is supplying the lime slaking equipment for the huge Ravensthorpe project in WA's South.

The Transmin Ball Mill Slaker shell has recently been received in the assembly shop and is undergoing fitting prior to testing and despatch.  The slaking mill is 2.0m diameter x 4.0m long and is driven by two drives, one a 132kW unit and the second a 45kW unit.

The duty is approximately 8.0tph of dry quicklime, but a particularly fine grind was specified by the client which resulted in a reasonably sized unit.

In addition to the mill, Transmin is supplying lime feeding equipment and a Vortex Pre-Mixer unit.  Equipment will be delivered in coming weeks.
