Transmin visited China Mining 2005 in Beijing as part of a delegation from the WA government to explore possibilities for co-operation in this important sector.  Phil Gilbert, Transmin's marketing manager and Martin Holden, Transmin's Queensland manager represented the company at the conference and exhibition.

Upon completion of the exhibition, Transmin travelled to Shandong province for a series of presentations and meetings with senior officials and industry representitives.  Shandong province is one of China's most significant producers of minerals and metals.
