Transmin has recently secured two major contracts for the design and supply of Extra Heavy Duty Isolation gates for two of Australia's major Iron Ore producers, these latest contracts come as a result of continued development work by Transmin on what is a crucial application in this industry.  Previous success with similar gates also contributed to the new orders.

The gates isolate ore bins etc from processing equipment and are a safety device as much as an operational addition to the plants.  Hydraulically driven, the gates isolate openings as large as 2.0m x 2.0m and the gates can weigh in the region of 6t, so they are a major piece of equipment.
