Bulk Storage Silos

Scutti and Transmin offer a large, diverse range of silos and bins to suit any materials handling application including fly ash, bitumen, cement, quicklime, hydrated lime, flocculant, talc, aged lime, flour, salt, sawdust, magnesium oxide and sugar.
The Scutti system of modular silos allows them to be assembled on the ground and then lifted as modules for construction. There is a reduced need to work at heights or use specialised hot equipment and therefore, a benefit of a low processing cost due to a simple process engineering. Each silo system is designed and engineered to produce maximum efficiency and discharge for each particular process.

Frequently asked questions

How long has Scutti been manufacturing for?
Scutti has been manufacturing silos since 1967 and is now a leading manufacture globally. Over the years they’ve added tubular and trough screw conveyors, dust collectors, slide and butterfly vales to supply a turnkey storage solution.
What sets Scutti apart from other companies in the industry?
  • High definition cutting and robotic automated welding resulting in high precision designs with zero tolerance.
  • Within the standard manufacturing diameters, a variety of storage capacities are offered to meet or adapt to any need.
  • Support structures with the elevations required by the project.
  • Customised designs according to specific customer needs.
  • Silos with earthquake resistant design certified by a Professional Engineer (PE Engineer).
  • Silos with storage free of dust emissions to the environment and controlled interior humidity.
  • Surface treatment and painting under Australian local compliant standards, applying shot-blasting and eco-friendly enamels that allow operating in aggressive industrial and mining environments. Hot-dip galvanizing as an optional finish, under special order.
  • Fast installation process that does not require highly qualified personnel.
